When I am planning Photo shoots and looking for inspiration Vogue Magazine is one of my biggest sources. I subscribe to the magazine so get it every month and a lot of the images do really inspire me to go out and shoot on location as well as in the studio.

British “VOGUE”  magazine has been  being published since 1961 when Elspeth Champcommunal was editor in chief until 1922. The current editor is Alexandra Shulman who has been editor in chief since 1992.



Vogue is known as “The Fashion Bible” and I love going through and looking at the most recent advertising campaigns and the fashion. Before I started shooting my project 1950’s styling had come back into most of the campaigns in the magazine and this made me quite excited to shoot some vintage styled images and research different photographers who had also shoot with this fashion styling and get ideas for hair, make up, outfits and location.
